Imagine this!

While I was on a mission trip to Guyana, we passed by this 6 to 10 year old girl paddling herself to school. Unfortunately this is how every kid gets to school if they go. They get into a carved out tree and paddle all day long to learn. We have got things so messed up here in the US. Dont we? Imagine this: Imagine your kid everyday getting up, eating (if anything), and then traveling sometimes hours upon hours to go to school. I failed to mention that through these murky waters lie Caymans, anacondas, peronas, and many other deadly things. I have a 6 and 3 year old and can't imagine letting my kid even get out of my sight without me, nonetheless travel hours through this kind of terrain to go to school. I love going on mission trips for more than one reason. I always come back appreciating the little things in life. We Americans continously complicate our life with stuff/junk that don't matter. My challenge for you is to just appreciate the life you have that God has given you! Call on Jesus Today!

Get Debt Free!

Debt is definitely a disease that has plagued the USA from the government down to the poorest of poor! As of November 19, 2008, the total U.S. federal debt was $10.6 trillion with China owning over 585 billion of International US Treasury Securities. Yes, scary! Statistics say that the average American family has a credit card debt of around $9,000 with that climbing each year. The problem arises because we spend more than we can pay back. We use a credit card thinking we will pay it off in a few months then the balance continues to grow and our debt continues to climb higher and higher.

God’s Word says in

Prov 22:7 NIV

7 The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.

If we don’t become passionate and discipline with our spending we will never get out from under the rule or BONDAGE of the rich or lender! God’s purpose for your life includes you being free from debt, so you can be free to do and go as he leads! Let’s do it! Let’s say, NO!! now so we can say,”Yes” for the rest of our lives. May God Bless Our Works!
